At Coton CE Primary School, we are incredibly fortunate to have our wonderful swimming pool! We pride ourselves on the swimming provision that we offer and the progress that our children make from their starting points. Swimming is a life skill and we are privileged to be able to provide children from the age of four the opportunity to learn to swim - this is uncommon in many other schools. From curricular swimming to after school swimming clubs, our school pool is a highly valuable resource that benefits so many!

As you are likely to be aware, this provision comes at an incredible cost! One which, as a school, we find it difficult to manage. With that in mind, Mrs Osborne and Miss Jarvis have joined forces in an attempt to swim the English Channel. Well, not literally…Instead, they will be completing a ‘Swim the Distance’ challenge that reflects the 21 miles (34 kilometres) of the English Channel over the next twelve weeks! Starting on Monday 25th September and with a deadline of Monday 17th December, we cannot wait to get started!
