Chris has been organising and supporting our local community for many many years, he is one of the people behind Crouch End Festival, he does Uf-Beat, he supports local initiatives and events all year long, often spending own money and making his hands dirty cleaning parks after the events (or all year long). All events are free community but even with support of the involved and volunteers they still cost money in terms of venue, sound, refreshments, additional bits and pieces and it doesn't feel far that responsibility to pay all bills after falls on Chris which is why I've organised the fundraiser. Chris has been supporting me for nearly 5 years since I did first events with Jimmy, my husband, who passed away in 2021. in 2020 when Jimmy's cancer came back and we had the lockdown Chris was the one helping me to put JimmyCBluesPicnic (4 times) which was for Jimmy the ONLY opportunity to play at that time, keeping his spirits high, but creating also events for everyone feeling lonely and confused in the lockdown time. Jimmy passed away in 2021 but i've been doing events in his memory and Chris has been supporting me all the time including Eddie Angel Rocking For Cancer in Holy Innocents Church, and JimmyCBluesFestival and picnics...
