I've raised £3000 to Fund Mrs Snuggles activity home kits for children with S.E.N. (Special Educational Needs) During Covid -19 Lockdown

Mrs Snuggles is trying to support children/pupils (aged 3-19) with complex special needs during this exceptionally difficult ‘lockdown’ time. It has been identified that what families really need to relieve the pressure is practical things that will help keep their children busy and entertained.
Children and their families particularly struggle with isolation and they are currently especially suffering without the usual respite care available and the structure and routine that children need. The nature of their conditions means that their families face daily challenges, since the children's ability to "self occupy" and keep themselves safe is greatly reduced. Being a parent is never a walk in the park but parenting during a pandemic is an entirely new challenge for millions of British families of children with special needs. For parents, the shuttering of schools has meant the loss of a dozen or more helpers throughout the day -- a support network that does everything from teaching special needs children how to grip a pencil or zip their coat, to social skills and handling full-blown meltdowns. Many parents have been abruptly thrust into the full-time roles of teacher and caregiver while working their paying jobs from home.
This is where Mrs Snuggles Home DIY activity kits can really help, by providing an escape into creativity that is fun. Activity kits that are available are: Home Super Slime DIY Kits, Home Bath Bomb making kits, Home Chocolate Factory Kits, Art & Craft Kits and Make-A-Friend Home DIY teddy Kits. You can visit Mrs Snuggles facebook page HERE. Mrs Snuggles has already donated many home DIY kits free to families in and around Exmouth, Devon, but would love to give a lot more to many more people and needs your help to do this.
Initially proceeds raised will purchase home activity kits for Mill Water which is a special school educating 117 pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties, severe communication impairment, complex physical and/or sensory impairment, autistic spectrum disorder, complex health difficulty that may be life-limiting, challenging behaviour, social and emotional difficulties, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, obsessive / compulsive behaviours, ADHD and visual impairment in Exmouth and the surrounding area.
Here is a moving video with a powerful message created by pupils, parents and teachers from Mill Water School.
The parents of special needs children offered a poignant reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel -- and light in those we love. Please help me to help them!
Our children are little heroes too, missing their grandparents, extended family and school, with a lack of normal routine and loss of structure to their normal day. Parents who are stressed, worried, scared and just different. Children overhear talk and news but don't really understand what they hear.
If we are fortunate enough to exceed our goal of £3000 we can then expand to reach even more children in these unprecedented times.
Any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and will help to give creative fun experiences to many.
Thank you
