Jade and staff at David Sykes Superbikes are putting together a team to take part in the "MOPED MAYHEM" event being held at South Tees Motorsport Park on 29th December 2016. 100% of any sponsorship received will be given to #HelpAlfieWalk

After the event, the scooter will be sold on ebay and all profit from the sale will also be donated to Alfie.

Alfie is in my class at school and he is now 9 years old.

Alfie was born 11 weeks early, and taken into intensive care, where he spent many months. He spent all this time connected to machines to help him breathe.

Alfie was diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy at 16 months old.

He has had intensive private physiotherapy every few days, and is now able to have a pioneering operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), which is proven to help children walk again.

On Monday 3rd October 2016, Alfie & family travelled to Leeds and met up with a specialist surgeon, who gave them the best news ever. He said that all of the intensive Physiotherapy sessions & hard work Alfie has done, has pushed him to the point where he is able to have the surgery... and the Surgeon is willing to do it!

Unfortunatley this surgery is not available on the NHS, so Alfie's family need to raise around £50,000.00 to pay for this treatment (and 2 years aftercare) for their little superstar Alfie!
