I've raised £5000 to Urgently replace the broken roof panels at Muir Skate Park and progress the design of the planned new skate park.

Muir Skatepark was originally constructed in 2008 and was an outdoor park made up of skatelite/metal skate ramps on a concrete base. In 2010 the park was covered with a steel frame building, the building does not have sides and allows water to come in from the sides and the clear skylights are cracked from vandalism and leak.
The Skatepark features are worn and patched in several places, the concrete base is very pitted/cracked and slows users down when transitioning between wood and concrete.
Overall the parks layout could be significantly improved and extended and is need of repair immediately and replacement within the next few years.
The purpose of the initial £5000 pound target is to replace the clear skylights with steel to prevent further damage and address the leaks. To develop a new design to fully enclose the skatepark and create a new layout designed at a more advance rider/skater.
