I've raised £500 to Fund Educational Items for Mukli School

Hello
Mukli is a village in the regions of Solukhumbu. Solukhumbu is the north east part of Nepal that hosts the most famous mountain in the world - Mount Everest. However, Mukli is a community in a rural area where it is very under developed. Only in recently, roads have been built and modern technology such as phones and internet have been introduced.
The climate of the area is very unforgiving and monsoon seasons are so severe, that school is often cancelled during this time.
Despite this, the community is warm and bustling with life.
Unfortunately, the school is severely underfunded due to location. This is not right.
Many children cannot afford to go to school and others cannot afford the equipment. Simple things such as paper and pencil, that we sometimes take for granted.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world
The school is called Shree Birandradaya Madhamik School.
The headmaster of the school is called Dilkumar Rai.
In the school there are 334 students and 16 teacher.Only 50 students go on to further education.
The School year starts in April and finishes in March.School starts from Year3/4 to Year12/13.
The school resources are limited to having 5 computers for mainly teacher use and 400 books in their library.
I am hoping to raise the money to donate educational items such as laptops, projectors, books, pens and pencils. The Laptops will have educational software for the children to use and help teachers to teach.
Having Laptops allows at least a class to do a ICT lesson.
The internet and technology can allow easy access to tons of information and students have chance to take online qualifications that school cannot provide. Especially for some students who cannot pay to travel to Kathmandu or other cities to take exams.
Any educational items that is donated is greatly appreciated.
These children cannot choose to which family they are born into nor the wealth or status, so let education become a powerful tool - let them have a chance in life. It’s 2018 and yet it’s still disheartening that poor children around the world are still at a disadvantage that they can’t control.
Please let me inspire and demonstrate what can happen when you have the chance to flourish and why they can succeed in life as well.
