I've raised £7000 to support rewilding and wolf conservation over a 4 day ride in Northern Portugal for ATNatureza and the Wolf Conservation centre in New York

Mungo in particular, and his wife Julietta are passionate about animal conservation. We have enjoyed a number of incredible cycling touring adventures across Europe together. Combining two passions, conservation and cycling, with some like-minded cycling friends, Mungo has put together the 2019 Wolf Ride. This ride will be through some of Portugal’s most beautiful countryside taking place from 1st – 6th September. This is a very tough ride, through difficult and mountainous terrain.
Climate change, natural habitat degradation coupled with increasing animal extinction are rapidly becoming some of the most serious issues we face. Sadly, good news stories in this arena are thin on the ground. As of March 2019 the US Fish and Wildlife Service have proposed to remove the wolf from the endangered species list. More upliftingly however, the re-appearance of the European Wolf in Portugal is important for the ecosystem and re-wilding initiatives, and also exciting for any riders who may be lucky enough to hear Europe’s wolves. Mungo and Julietta will be leading the pack...
Please support them by donating what you can on this 4 day ride over 395km.
