Story

For more information, go to the MUNoC website.

The Model United Nations of Cambridge (MUNoC) is an annual conference for sixth form students across the UK, based in the university city of Cambridge. It encourages political education among young adults, providing an opportunity for them to engage in contemporary global politics by taking on the roles of delegates to the United Nations for a variety of countries. It is a great opportunity for budding orators, politicians, and journalists to practise professional debate in realistic circumstances.

I was one of six core members of the organising team for the inaugural MUNoC conference. We partnered with the University of Cambridge, hosting the conference at the University's Computer Laboratory. Delegates from across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk attended the conference to represent 15 different countries from across the world - and all costs were covered by the conference team, making it 100% accessible.

This year, more than a hundred delegates will attend from across the country. This fundraiser helps to raise money for the cost of the venue and catering to ensure every delegates gets as much out of the conference as they can. Thank you for your donation.
