I'm writing this post to see out there who would mind helping out a family I know that want to fundraise to decorate the outside of their house for their eight month olds first Christmas. Ollie didn't have the best start in life with suffering from the following:
* Pulmonary stenosis and dysplastic pulmonary valve.
* Micrognathia.
* Small mouth.
* Anterior larynx.
* Left undescended testicle
* Low set ears
* Possible hypoxic retinopathy- awaiting ophthalmology follow up.
* Normal array-CGH
* Poor weight gain
* Ongoing moderate respiratory distress and intermittent stridor.
Despite all of this above he still awaits the diagnoses to know if he has a disability syndrome and is currently being fed through a tube as he is waiting for the peg to be put in so they can start to try and bottle feed him.
They didn't know if Ollie would make it to Christmas so him being this far is a blessing and what would it make it better then to make his first Christmas one to remember for him and his family.
They are looking for outside lights and things to just decorate the outside of the house and all the money from the fundraiser will go to Yeovil Hospital Ward 10 where Ollie goes, this money that they make will not only help Ollie but many other children, teens, adults and the elderly to be able to live life how they should be able to.

Not only does this hospital help Ollie with his progression it will be the place that I am sure any of you reading this go when you need help or where you visit your loved ones and this is also the place Ollie's family go to visit him. This family are the most caring people I know and I am sure they would do the same to anyone else.
So, please if you can help make that little difference to Ollies first Christmas don't hesitate to.
