Story

I have started a crowd fund and would be so grateful if you were able to help in any way.

My friend has a high grade brain tumour which has recurred and because of the complication of having a stroke it isn’t operable. Her mobility is a problem as she is paralysed down one side after the stroke.

Her husband is a self employed tradesman who is trying to juggle working, caring for her, their three boys and two greyhounds.

As you can imagine that doesn’t give him much time and he isn’t able to work as much as he would normally.

They have always loved adventures up north and cherished family time and trips away, especially ones in there camper ‘Ruby’.

Unfortunately Ruby is old now and too cramped for wheelchairs etc. So along came Murphy.

Murphy is a perfect size but needs some welding work and possible adaptions so that precious time can be spend getting away in him.

However this work takes time and money, neither of which this family have.

I therefore am appealing to you to help them in any way you can .... a few pounds or if you can weld or are mechanical or have fixed up a van before I need a DIY SOS team .

Many thanks
