Story

The Charitable Adventurer Charlie Martell is hoping to claim a Guinness World Record as the first person to row unaided across the North Pacific, land to land.

He plans to set off from Choshi in Japan on April 23rd ( St George’s Day ) in his boat Blossom and he faces six gruelling months at sea with only oar-power to get him more than 5,083 miles across the biggest ocean on the planet to the western seaboard of the USA .

Music 4 Charlie

Music 4 Charlie will help to keep him motivated for the challenge and raise awareness for mental health, in this gruelling physical and mental challenge.

By donating money, you will not only help to inspire Charlie to reach his ambitious goal for charity, but will also fill him with ongoing inspiration and support in this great challenge.

He will be raising awareness for Mental Health including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and your money will be contributing towards his operational costs, including insurance, equipment and very importantly, the music to drive and inspire him.
