I've raised £100 to make music accessible to children

So with the Cardiff half marathon just around the corner, I am now spending every day of my holiday abroad, staggering around after training in this ridiculous heat! For someone that has never been particularly great at visiting the gym, a half marathon is a rather large task it turns out! Music has always been a huge part of my life and anyone that knows me well enough will understand how much it can improve someone's enjoyment of life. I was and still am very lucky to be a part of some incredible organisations so I am trying to raise just a small amount of money in return to help them run the musical activities that they are wishing to carry out this academic year for their current members. Any shares or donations (however small!) would massively boost my enthusiasm and make this pain slightly more bearable! Please read below for more info on why this charity is so important to me. Much love xx

Evidence shows that learning music facilitates learning other subjects and enhances skills used in other areas. I strongly belive that every child should have access to music lessons and be able to make music with others through orchestras and choirs. Music teaches discipline, patience and teamwork and also develops language and creativity. Not only is music extremely beneficial in a child's development and education but it can be a great confidence booster and a place for expression for those going through difficult times in their lives.
Thanks to these opportunities being available when I was younger, I am now able to pursue a career in music and spend my life doing what I love. I am so grateful to these organisations and would love to be able to pay back something for everything they have done for me. I would also love to see other children enjoying these opportunities that I was lucky enough to have. For any further info on the charities and music organisations I am supporing, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Any support would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.
