Professional Musical Director Rickey Long and local playwright Laura Simpson are joining forces to create a new musical in the space of one week!

They will write music and lyrics as well as orchestrations and a script, then rehearse and perform a production of the show in the following four days.

Rickey is one of the many artists globally who has been significantly affected by the pandemic, and whilst theatres across the UK remain closed, Guernsey in the Channel Islands is currently Covid free and enjoying a 'normal' summer with arts events continuing after a brief hiatus.

This project aims to raise funds to support UK performing artists during the global pandemic and children and young people in Guernsey through the charity ORCA Charitable LGB, a registered Guernsey charity.

The cast includes: Ali Coubrough Barnett, Chiara Beebe, Chris Brooks, Reece Kilminster, Tabitha Lepp, Lydia Pugh and Michael Sullivan.
