Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return (Surah Al-Baqarah - Verse 156).

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved grandmother, Hajjah Syeda Bibi.

A cherished mother, loving grandmother, and dear friend to many, she touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She dedicated herself to her family and was a source of love, guidance, and comfort to all who knew her.

To honour her memory, we are raising funds towards supporting a masjid in Bangladesh, a cause that was especially close to her heart. Syeda was passionate about Islam and the importance of children learning their deen and growing in their faith.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them."

We pray that every prayer performed, every verse of Qur'an recited, and every child who benefits from this masjid becomes a source of ongoing reward for her.
