What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We want to take Muslim Creatvs to the next level by securing a venue to host our first event which will have presentations, workshops and panel discussions on topics such as:
The power of storytelling
How to tell/pitch your story
CV, Cover letter + Interview workshop/advice
The reality of freelancing
Unpaid internships/work experience
How to deal with lack of support? (parents, friends, workplace)
How to navigate the creative industry as a Muslim
What does success look like for a Muslim creative?
There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with many creatives going though a similar path as you and this will be one of many events InShaAllah!
