In May 2021, Men Walking and Talking started with a single step. It was one walk in Telford with just one attendee. At that moment, the mission was simple: to find a way to navigate the noise through the power of movement and conversation.

Five years later, that single step has become a national movement.

What started in Telford has grown into a lifeline for men across 33 counties and over 80 active groups. We have proven that when you give men a "Side-by-Side" alternative to clinical support, they show up. They talk. They heal. And most importantly, they realize they aren't walking alone.

To mark our 5th Anniversary, we are heading back to our roots in Shropshire. On May 17th, we are inviting the entire national community to join us at Carding Mill Valley to walk, talk, and celebrate five years of breaking the silence. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re thinking about your first walk, we want you there.

We will be walking 5 miles for the 5 years since we were founded! You can choose how many laps you do! Everyone is welcome!
