Help Keep Christmas Magical in Mansfield Woodhouse
For many local families, the Christmas Lights Switch-On marks the beginning of the festive season – bringing friends, neighbours and generations together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
This year, we need your help.
The Christmas lights within our trees have reached the end of their life and are now damaged beyond repair. To continue creating the magical display our community has come to love, we need to replace them and install new colourful uplighters that will transform the Market Place with a brighter, more vibrant festive atmosphere.
At a time when many communities are finding it increasingly difficult to continue hosting traditional Christmas lights switch-on events, MWCDG is determined to keep this cherished local tradition alive for the people of Mansfield Woodhouse. We believe everyone deserves the chance to enjoy the excitement and magic of a community Christmas celebration.
We're asking local residents, businesses and supporters to help us reach our goal. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference towards purchasing the new lighting. Should we raise more than is needed for the lights, any remaining funds will be used to support the Christmas Lights Switch-On event itself, helping to provide a memorable festive experience for everyone.
Together, we can light up Mansfield Woodhouse and ensure this much-loved tradition continues for many Christmases to come.
