Story
I have created a zine exploring the harms of Syngenta's pesticide trade, how they fit in the economic order, and a few examples from those at the forefront of change.
The zine is now available to be viewed online for free! A limited number of physical copies are also being printed and will be available with a donation.
I have tried to keep the zine available for free and at a low cost so that the message is as accessible as possible. However, I have put together this JustGiving page to invite donations and help cover my costs. If the zine resonates with you, please consider donating what you can to help fund my work. All donations are warmly appreciated 🌻
What Will My Donation Go Towards?
- Printing costs.
- 50% profits after printing costs will go to La Via Campesina.
- 50% profits after printing costs will go to myself, covering my expenses and future work.
I hope to run workshops and give presentations to help drive change. Donations will enable me to keep these workshops low cost and accessible to wider audiences, which I believe to be fundamental to creating futures that are just and inclusive for all. I also wish to share 50% profits with La Via Campesina to support small-scale farmers and Indigenous Peoples fighting for food sovereignty.
P.S. You can pre-order a physical copy of the zine here!:
Fill out the form and make a donation. It is completely up to you how much. Recommended donation per zine - £6.50 + postage.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using the donation link to make a pre-order, please include your name or a nickname used on the pre-order form so that I can identify your payment :)
More About The Zine
The zine follows on from my Master's project, where I investigated the harms of Syngenta's pesticide trade and how they disproportionately impact the most marginalised. It is a slow violence that often goes unseen, untreated and without justice. More sustainable food systems and alternative ways of living are very much alive and I hope that by sharing this zine, we can start to (un)learn, show solidarity and catalyse change.
