Story

Attention all! I'm asking for your hard earned money. My friend Anna and I are attempting a crazy 24 hour run. Between us we are aiming to run at least 160km (that's four marathons back to back!) in a series of 10km relay loops. We will be going from 12 noon on Saturday 23rd to 12 noon 24th September without rest and continuing throughout the night with plenty of flapjacks and protein shakes. Why?? Well I'll tell you. My father set up a free school in Cambodia 5 years ago helping children from three remote villages learn about health, hygiene and English to open up opportunities for them to work outside the rice fields. The school also helps the local community (recently with clean water and electricity). Their aim is to continue to support and educate but also to drive self sufficiency. I spent time teaching there two years ago and fell in love with the village, the children and the people. Their desire to learn, their constant smiles and laughter and love of life will stay with me forever. Please donate. Thank you.
