My little brother Ben is a kind hearted, brave, quiet soul who has always been my favourite thing. He was born on my 13th birthday and although I wasn't happy about it at the time, I quickly realised he was the best gift I ever received. Watching him grow up into such a beautiful person has made me so proud and even though it's been a worry as it is with watching anyone grow up, nothing could have prepared us for this...Ben is now going through chemotherapy after discovering he has stage 4 cancer. He has just turned 16 years old. Though his hair fell out and is now growing back, though he has had to endure the harmful side effects of chemotherapy, though he has found out who his real friends are, though he has had to face life's hard realities early on, he has took it on the chin so bravely. it would be nice to remind him what it's like to be 16 again.

Even though this situation is the most terrible thing we as a family have ever endured, he is proving what a stand up human he really is. He has never made me more proud. Which is why I want to treat him to the best time of his life once he is through this! I want to show him just how special he is! I want him to breath in life again in all its splendour and remind him of what it feels like to live and feel free. So my master plan is to send him and my mum (who has been through this by his side every moment) away on the trip of they're lives! Once the chemo is over! Every penny of the money raised will go to creating a once in a lifetime trip for them to enjoy after going through hell and back! I will do everything I can to make this happen and make it the best it can be! The trip will be weeks of traveling to different places and exploring different things, relaxing and taking in life again!
