Weʼre raising £35,000 to Set up an academy for disadvantaged youth in at least 2 separate low income areas in the U.K.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

I have a youth lead programme that I need financial support and expert knowlege to help me deliver across the UK. The programme is designed for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, living in low income conmunities.

I have trialled and tested this programme in a place called Luton, which I previously self funded and now need support to make it attainable everywhere. This program does not only tackle the problem in hand but builds cohesion with other cultures.

The Problem..

47 deaths this year from youth crime.

Obesity in young people is at its highest its ever been.

Reduced youth centres and not enough youth programmes or incentives that offers opportunies or self-development in leadership skills targeted at these groups of people.

My programme isn't packaged as a youth help organistion but to be honest that is exactly what it is.

What we do not advertise..

Myplant Academy doesn't advertise that we are an evening bootcamp trainning club. Non tolerant and diciplined with compulsory classes that all students must attend. These are:-

Financial Education

Business Development

LifeSkills training

Health & Fitness

Elocution classes

The classes are delivered by specialist tutors that I personally head hunt who are accompanied by teachers, youth mentors and counsellors that can reach, motivate and impact the deliverables.

(It is difficult to find a specialist that can teach their skills and/or can relate to young people from these backgrounds) The specialist commit to 3 hours of their time to support the cause.

Young people are required to train for a minimum of 3 evenings a week for 3 hours after school/college. We pick up students and drop them home to their doorstep.

Our aim is to deliver early intervention self development training, giving young people options that drive them forward. This is not to only motivate them but give them skills in areas they are passionate about. They don't have to wait for handouts but take control of their own destiny, the program teaches discipline and focus driven habits. It works.. I have tested it.
