Engaging Young People Through Sport, Fitness & Mentoring – Creating Change in the Community
Who We Are
At N3W ANGLE, we use sport, fitness, and mentoring to change lives. Led by lived experience, we deliver early-intervention programmes for young people across Reading - helping them build confidence, resilience, and a brighter future.
Through powerful mentoring, practical workshops, and engaging boxing and fitness sessions, we support young people at risk of exclusion, exploitation, or offending - and offer real alternatives.

What We Do
Our sports-based sessions aren’t just about movement — they’re about mindset, mentorship, and making better choices.
Boxing & Fitness
We run structured, CBT-informed sessions that focus on technique, discipline, and decision-making — improving physical health, mental wellbeing, and confidence.
Mentoring
Our team connects with young people on their level, using lived experience and real conversations to help them navigate life’s challenges.
Workshops & Assemblies
We provide engaging awareness sessions around crime, mental health, peer pressure, and life choices — working in schools, youth hubs, and community venues.

Why We Need Your Support
Your donations help us reach more young people and expand the work we’re doing through:
Additional free-to-access boxing camps
Pop-up mentoring hubs across Reading
Specialist support for those most at risk
Every contribution helps:
£10 helps contribute towards healthy snacks and drinks at one of our free sports camps
£25 goes towards the cost of a one-to-one mentoring session for a young person
£50 supports the delivery of a tailored workshop focused on mental health and self-worth
£100 contributes to a group session that opens young people’s eyes to new opportunities and positive pathways

Our Impact in the Last 12 Months
91% of young people attending our boxing camps said it helped their mental health and ability to manage stress.
On average, participants score 7/10 in “hope for the future” wellness assessments.
We’ve worked in partnership with families, schools, and local agencies to support young people when they need it most.
We’re incredibly grateful for the positive impact Junior has made this year. His support has made a real difference to many students and families, and even staff have benefited from his sessions when they’ve needed it most. - Assistant Headteacher, Cox Green School
The event reached around 250 children over three days, and it was clear how well Moses and Thomas connected with young people of all ages. Their sessions resonated, leaving a lasting impact that we hope the young people carry forward for themselves and those around them. - Senior Communications Manager, Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit
