Story

Welcome to Our N3W ANGLE Fundraising Page!

Engaging Young People Through Sports, Fitness and Mentoring - Creating change within the community!

At N3W ANGLE we are driven by a simple commitment to create a physical and emotional difference within the community.

Through a lived-experience perspective we offer prevention and awareness workshops and assemblies, relatable mentoring, and sports intervention.

Our Sports Programmes

Sessions are designed to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for young people to participate in physical activity. Through boxing and fitness sessions, we aim to develop technical and tactical skills while considering the physical and mental aspects of sports, improving confidence and decision-making.

Our Goals

Promote Physical Activity: Exercise is critical to physical and mental health. Our cognitive behavioural therapy-led sessions are specifically created to improve strength, endurance, mental resilience, and overall well-being and personal growth.

Teach Discipline and Respect: Sport is about discipline, respect, and self-control. These values are important to personal development and success. Young people will learn to set goals, work hard, and respect themselves and others.

Provide Mentorship: Our sessions connect young people with mentors with lived experience, who offer early intervention support, and are positive role models, helping them navigate life’s challenges.

Create a Safe Space: We offer a welcoming environment where young people can feel safe, channel their aggression, develop a sense of structure, build self-confidence, and form positive relationships

Why We Need Your Support

All your donations go into fairly employing our staff and delivering our impactful activities and workshops.

£10 could cover essential refreshments for a day at our free-to-access sport intervention camps.

£25 could cover the cost of activities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of a young person.

£50 could provide specialist support to a young person at risk of exploitation and destructive lifestyle.

£100 could empower a group of young people to see what other opportunities exist beyond their day-to-day world.

Our Impact & Community Voices

Over 6 years of working in partnership with young people, their parents, carers, schools and other agencies.

In the last year, our team has made a difference to so many young people in the community.

91% of young people attending our free-to-access sport intervention camps reported improved mental health and stress management.

Our young people average scores 7 out of 10 in their optimism for the future in their wellness assessments.

Students at Oakbank have benefitted immensely in the last couple of years from the service provided by Charles and Thomas. The 1:1 mentoring sessions have helped students to self-regulate and make the right choices in school. The boxing club offered at lunchtime and afterschool has had a positive impact on the students' wellbeing. The key benefits of these sessions are to help develop self-discipline, build self-confidence as well as being a healthy physical activity. Charles and Thomas have developed positive relationships with students over the years. - Inclusion Lead, Oakbank Free School

The event was great, with around 250 children passing through over the three days. It was obvious as an observer how Moses and Thomas were able to strike up a really good rapport with the kids, of all ages, and their inputs were understood and did have an impact on the young people, who we hope will take their learning away – for themselves, their friends and family. - Senior Communications Manager, Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit

Thank you for visiting - your donation could help us improve the lives of young people!
