Story

The Northern Area Committee of the Order of the Knights of St. Columbanus are raising £5,000.00 to purchase an Ultrasound scanner.

We are raising funds to support the purchase of a pro-life ultrasound scanner, a vital piece of equipment that can help save lives by offering expectant mothers clear, compassionate information at a crucial moment.

Ultrasound scanners have been shown to be one of the most effective tools in helping mothers choose life. Seeing their unborn child can provide reassurance, clarity, and hope—often at a time of fear or uncertainty.

This initiative is supported by the Northern Area Committee of the Knights of St. Columbanus, who are committed to defending the dignity of human life from conception to natural death and to offering practical support for life-affirming initiatives within our communities.

Why This Matters

• Ultrasound scanners help mothers make informed, life-affirming decisions

• They provide a non-judgemental, compassionate medical service

• They support pro-life outreach with real, tangible impact

• One scanner can help save countless lives over many years

How Your Donation Will Be Used

All funds raised will go directly toward:

• The purchase of a pro-life ultrasound scanner associated equipment and setup costs
