A young woman I know who has a disabled daughter with both physical and learning difficulties as well as autism due to a genetic disorder. She suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, resulting in a long hospital stayl and now brain damage, sight impairment and paralysis of the left hand side and sleep disorders.

She is the most inspirational little girl with such a thirst for life and a great little character but she can be really challenging on most days and her mum gets no rest bite, whatsoever. Prior to lockdown, she had 5 hours free a week, which is nothing. She gets no real help or assistance , lives on very little sleep, is always thinking of others and never complains or moans about it. Shes amazing.

She has been stuck in since the start of this and I really would like to try and get some SENSORY EQUIPMENT to help keep her daughter entertained, giving her some stimulation to aid in the progress of her recovery.

We have got equipment for showering, eating and sleeping but all her toys have had to be given away along with most of her clothes. She is in leggings or shorts now, which only last 2 days a pair if she's lucky. They get holes in them as she is a floor shuffler and there is no carpet.

Any help that anyone can give would be so gratefully welcomed and appreciated and this is for a really worthwhile cause. Do you have any equipment you no longer need. Anything would be welcomed. I just want to try and make life a bit better for them.
