Story

I was involved in a evangelistic campaign from the 28th of February to the 21st of March 2017 in Nakuru, Kenya. The community was very responsive, every night both children and adults flocked at the meetings to listen to the word of God.

That particular community is an underprivileged village, most of the people survive by selling second hand goods, fruits and vegetables and very limited water supplies. Over 100 people accepted Christ, 62 people were baptised were baptised at the end of the 3 weeks campaign. They have since been several other baptism. The local school has graciously agreed to accommodate the current group. However, 1 classroom is no longer able to contain their numbers.

The head of the school were I witnessed to both staff and children during my campaign and left copies of Daniel and Revelation, has allowed the branch Sabbath school to purchase a piece of land. For 3m Kenyan shillings (approx £18,000). Through their own efforts, the members have now raised close to 1m Kenyan shillings (approx £6,000).

I plan to visit the area next year, around feb/march. Therefore raising money to help buy the material for the construction of the church.

I am walking from Basildon to Ilford which is approx. 20miles on the 22nd of October for the cause. Starting at 6am and hopefully finishing at 3pm.
