About four weeks in preparation for my holiday to my home country of Ghana, I received a phone call informing me that my Grandad had died. This hurt me especially because he basically raised me, I promised to go and see him because he told me some time ago that if I did not come and see him soon he'd die. So finally when I planned to go, 2 days before my departure he passed away. I was really distraught as he took the place of my dad by making sure I had everything I needed, which included food, shelter and especially an education which was very sacred during the time I was growing up. Thinking this time in my life could not get any worse one of Grandads son passed away due to pressures of dealing with his fathers death. Now due to limited finances both of them will be buried on the same day. Unfortunately at this moment in time I have not got the funds to travel back for the funeral. So I'm asking if anyone out there can make it possible not only for me to go back but to also help out financially with the funeral.
