I've raised £2500 to support the women in Bethlehem by buying their embroidery

Story
Whilst the Occupied West Bank in Palestine is not being bombed, people there are suffering. Since going to the West Bank myself, I have been working with a group of women in a cooperative in Bethlehem who support their families through their beautiful, traditional embroidery, which in normal times they are able to sell to tourists. Today not only have they lost this source of income, but others working in restaurants, hotels, making souvenirs etc. are also without work. Najla, a lovely woman who coordinates the cooperative says....
Our situation is very bad and hard no work. All The entrance between the city's still close. We cant move. We still doing embroidery with the ladies to support thier families. The problem no customer to buy. We are suffering from the situation and we dont know when it will stop. What shall we do this our situation. We hope things to get better and to have a new year with peace and love and happiness. Thank you for asking about us.
These women don't want charity, they want work! Please donate to raise money to place a large order with them. If we can buy £2000 of embroidery, it will go a long way to supporting the women and their families.
When the order arrives, anyone can select pieces of embroidery up to the value of their donation. Any surplus money will be used to buy more embroidery or donated to charities supporting the Palestinian people.
