Story

We are raising money to help and support a few different families in India, with essential living, health and educational needs. Francis and I are going to walk the full length of the Costwolds Way, 100miles, in 5 days. We'll start our journey on January 1st 2024.

I've known the families we are raising money for, since my fist visit to Patnem, South Goa in 2015, and they have been part of my life ever since. Francis joined me there this year and also fell in love with them all and them with him! We already send monthly money to help in a small way, but this is hard to sustain, hence asking you for help! This money goes towards general living costs, which are invariably higher than their income, towards ongoing health expenses for particular family members with chronic illnesses, and to support the eldest son of one of the families to go through college. He will be the first ever in his family to do so and therefore is a fantastic role model for all the other children in the family. One family member is also in urgent need of an operation, which we would like to help with also.

Any donation, any amount, makes a difference, thank you for your support, it means so much to our friends! xx
