Story

On Wednesday 16th May, 15 of the Nandocas at Nandos Glasgow St. Enoch Centre will be climbing "Ben Lomond" to raise funds in support of a local youth project. FUSE Youth Café located in Shettleston is an organisation focused on helping the community and providing learning courses, youth groups and residential trips for the people around that area. The Summer programme is ran every year with the help of government and lottery funding however this money is hard to obtain and not always enough to fund the activities provided by the centre. Extra volunteer work is undertook to help run the programmes over the holidays, which will allow children and youths to develop new skills such as guitar or dance lessons, and more importantly offer a safer and more positive environment to vulnerable kids that may not have these opportunities.

We want to raise money to purchase new equipment for the Summer Programmes such as basketballs, arts & crafts materials and many other things. With the money leftover we will donate it to the centre to help organise a residential trip, a fantastic experience that some of the children would otherwise not have the chance to go on.
