Story

Every Thursday, I go to a farm called Bridge Farm to help our friend Shirley, who is an amputee and only has one leg. She used to be a part of the Labrador Trust, but is now retired but has a passion for dogs. Currently, she has 27 rescue dogs - the majority of which are now Romanian, and were rescued from kill shelters, the streets etc - and she also has 4 donkeys. In the photo, there is: Billy, Picorous, Hero, Phoebe, Robyn, Urso, Caprita, Ian, and Irma. These are only nine of the dogs - it is impossible to get them into one photo as they have their friendship and walking groups. Recently, they've been struggling with money at the farm, and I decided to start this page to try and help them to raise funds to pay for the medication and for the food of these dogs. They have very good wellbeings, however all of my friend's money goes towards them and there is little left to pay rent or tax. Alongside this, one of the donkeys, Oreo, had two sarcoids on his groin. One of them has been removed via laser surgery, and the second one will need to be operated on too. The veterinary bills for this will be huge. By fundraising, I hope to create an area where there is money that they can fall back on to give these incredible animals, and incredible woman, what they deserve. She doesn't know I'm doing this, but I want to surprise her with the money because she really does not only need it, but she deserves it too. Thank you
