I'm running the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run (half marathon) in October to raise money for Riverside Performing Arts who are a fantastic charity training young people in the arts and providing theatre to schools in Birmingham. I'm also raising for the charity Pineapple Youth Project I work with which works to make positive impacts in the lives of children and young people through community football called “Pineapple Rules” and an 11-14s community youth group called “The Youth Zone”.

I've seen first-hand what a huge difference both charities make to the community and everyone who receives off them so I'm hoping to raise ANY amount of money, however £500 (£225 to each charity once fees are deducted) would be pretty amazing.

Now I'm fully aware that people do far more impressive things for charity than run 13.1 miles, however having not run anything like this before I'm super determined to make it to the end without stopping and raising money would help that determination along (especially when jelly legs strikes).
