I am a Girl Guider who has been lucky enough to be chosen for an International Guiding trip to Switzerland, following a selection weekend earlier in the year, in which we completed challenges and activities with 70 other girls from across the South West of England to compete for places on trips abroad. The Switzerland trip will take place from 16th to 24th February 2019 and it will involve cross country skiing, a visit to Our Chalet on Thinking Day, igloo building, Snow Adventure and the Animal Alpine Explorer Programme. It is an amazing opportunity to experience Swiss culture with 15 other girls from across the country and I am very much looking forward to it since I love the outdoors and trying new things. I need to raise £1300 to go through fundraising.
