Story
We are part of Inspire Prince's Trust Teams Programme in Ipswich completing a social action project to raise awareness about knife crime and raising funds to purchase and install essential bleed kits in our local community. We are partnering with Be Lucky anti-crime foundation to raise funds for bleed kits. The co-founder of Be Lucky was affected directly by knife crime when his brother's lost his life due to knife crime.
Knife crime has risen in Ipswich through the years with fatalities that could've been prevented if there had been easy access of a bleed kit. People hold knives out of protection or retaliation however the aftermath can leave devastation among family, friends and communities.
As a team of young people living in Ipswich, we have decided to tackle this issue which can have a negative impact on so many people. We want to raise the money to fund bleed kits which really could save someone's life! We will be completing an 8-mile sponsored walk to raise money to fund a bleed kit which costs £550 for purchase and installation and have it placed at Inspire on Lindbergh Road in Ipswich. Please donate what you can towards this and help us to make a difference in our own community, it's a small price to pay to potentially save a life!
