Story

Farmers from across India are marching in solidarity to the capital, in the worlds largest peaceful protest in history against new farm bills.

Farmers are protesting against laws that deregulate the sale of crops, the changes in laws take away rights from farmers. These changes inevitably put them at risk of losing their business and land to big corporations.

We want to educate people by creating leaflets and phamplets explaining the dangers of the three farm laws in Punjab in Punjabi, Hindi and local dialects. We will distribute these through volunteers. We want people to understand these laws so they know exactly what is at stake and understand they have a right over what happens to them.

Arranging transport from Punjab villages and towns to transport protesters to Delhi in order to participate in the peaceful protest and raise awareness.

This fight is not only ours but for future generations, Punjab is known for its farming, it’s what they know and how they survive. They have worked hard for this land we have to help them keep.

Any contribution you can make to the cause will be appreciated.
