My friend is horse mad. She's been riding for as long as I can remember and recently had the chance to rehome one of the horses that she rides at the household cavalry - Drake.  Drake has string halt and sarcoids and many people hated his highly strung nature and constant jog trotting, but Narni always seems to like the crazy ones and so fell totally in love with him. She's ridden him at the cavalry in London for the past three years and was often the only civi rider riding him. She even bought him new tack and bits when his were rubbing and commuted for over an hour to make the 7am rides.  The time has come for him to be retired from service and rehomed. We thought no one else would be on the list for drake due to his medical problems and his sometimes dangerous behaviour with bolting and being very strong. But unfortunately there is someone else interested who knew Drake back in 2011. He is a very different horse now and Narni is gutted that he may end up with someone who doesn't even know him anymore after all the work she's put in.  It all comes down to money (as usual). There will be a sealed bid and the highest bid wins. I really want to finally get to meet the famous Drake and see Narni back with her forever horse so he can be spoiled into old age.
