Having recently become a first aider at work, i have realised that a defibrillator can save lives.
In emergencies, especially in the current finacial situations where our hospital funding and closing down of departments are common, in these situations time is vital and i believe when a situation like this happens when cpr is required a defibrillator can save lives.
If we have defibrillators stations across our local communities in common places like shopping centres, schools or faith centers we could potentially save lives. When you call for an ambulance they would tell a location of one and someone around could go and get one to help the individual.
It would be great if you could help us fund these, for areas of Dewsbury, Ravensthorpe, mirfield.
We as friends will be doing the yorkshire 3 peaks in mid august to raise funds for this.
