Small steps to bring big Changes

In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the All Compassionate

وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاء وَلا شُكُورًا

And They Feed, For The Love Of Allah, The Indigent, The Orphan, And The Captives, Saying: We Feed You For Allah's Sake: No Reward Do We Seek From You Nor Thanks.

(Surah 76: Ayah 8-9)

The Holy Qur'an repeatedly mentions the word 'orphan' bringing to our attention and encouraging us towards our Islamic and human duty to those less fortunate. It is our mission at LZHH to bring these individuals out of the shadows that they have been forgotten in and be the light at the end of the tunnel for them.

Our project aims to target a vulnerable population of widows and orphans. In many of these cases the widows will be solely responsible for the wellbeing of their children with little or no support externally.

Our small, but dedicated team of volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds for individuals requiring surgical operations (often life threatening and urgent). Not only do we support the individuals with the surgeries but in specific cases we often fund the necessary after- care required post- surgery.
We would like to appreciate all those generous hands and hearts who helped support in this noble case. May Allah swt increase in your blessings. His rewards will surely be in multifolds.

We have identified 25 orphans with their mothers and siblings at Sayyida Zaynab area who require your generous support. You can support an orphan and his/her mother with UK pounds 70 to 100 per month. That would cater for their v basic hand to mouth needs.
