I've raised £3000 to help reduce the clubs cost. As a non-profit organisation we struggle to meet the basic costs. We would like to utilise other areas.

Story

Glodwick Dynamoes FC (FA Chartered Standard Club)

Football is the most popular sport globally, and millions take part in football activities at a grassroots level. However, there is always a need of funding, and equipment, facilities and even supporting staff are an expensive commodities when there is little government support available and now the businesses are not able to like in the past due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

Many football Clubs have turned to Crowdfunding to raise money for the supplies that they need, with teams using their fundraising to pay for new kit, FA Level 1/2 Coaching Sessions, trips to play in tournaments, or facilities to play on.

The main focus of the club has always been to encourage the participation of youths by delivering structured football and fitness training sessions to help some to overcome the barriers that has stopped young people from getting involved, help them with their health being and develop them with skill sets that will help them on outside of the club such as team leading, communicating effectively, working as a team and individual, Channelling behaviour/anger issues in a positive way. Every youth that participates in the training sessions have the opportunity to play in official matches. The current age group is between 6 and above.

The Club was officially affiliated in 2017 with the Manchester FA and since then it has evolved drastically with 10 teams and 2 coaches assigned to every team and has officially been recognised as a FA Chartered Standard Club. The FA Charter Standard accreditation is for clubs who can be proud to be places where people want to play. These are the clubs who demonstrate they offer well-run and sustainable football. Clubs which achieve The FA Charter Standard status are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding as well as the values of The FA’s Respect campaign as part of their game for further information please select the link below:

The Club has been working with youths 7 days and have been putting a lot volunteer hours to help sustain the club. W e would like the community get in contact and do their bit so we can continue to provide the a good service to the youths. We are doing our bit please we would like to do your bit.

Oldham is seen as a deprived and poverty driven area, without sufficient funding, we lose the opportunity to learn and develop in football, a very much needed facility in our community. We have 20 volunteer coaches who give up over 30 hours a week to coach over 150 children within the community. Without their voluntary efforts we would not be able to continue to grow with the number of youths we currently have training with us.

We are looking for your help to raise £3000 to reduce the clubs expenses needed to cover basic costs which we struggle to meet every year. We are unable to develop other areas of the club that would be used to benefit the young boys/girls who attend the training/matches.
