"To God we belong and to Him we shall return"

On Friday 4th November, our beloved sister and daughter Nasreen Rahman passed away after battling with Gastric Cancer. Yet through her struggle she did not falter in determination, strength or faith. Allah, through his mercy called for her return at the tender age of 23, and she left behind an important lesson for us all in the power of faith.

Through her life she has touched many hearts and united communities all over the country, from Birmingham where she studied, to Worthing where she was raised. As a family, we have met some truly wonderful people who were in her life, and this is a true testament to Nasreens kindness, generosity and inspiration as a truly wonderful human being. Her warm and mischevious heart will always be what keeps her alive to us.

Through her illness the community has shown paramount levels of support and love, and when the time came to prepare her funeral rights, there were no shortages of volunteers to support our family through this tough time. Whilst Nasreen may not be with us to continue doing ibadaah, we hope that through this page we can continue to do the good that we know she would have done.

Through this fundraising page, we are hoping to raise money to contribute to our local mosque, in order for them to provide additional facilities for the community. This includes raising funds for a morgue refrigerator and replacing the hot water tank in the ghusl (wash) room.
We hope that by raising these funds in her name, Nasreen can offer her own support to the community, who loved and respected her, through her passing.

Any contributions big or small can help us achieve this small but much needed service for our local community as part of Nasreens Sadaqah Jaariya. We are all grateful for your contribution.
