I've raised £12000 to Dad who sustained a traumatic brain injury.

My dad Slawek sustained a traumatic brain injury secondary to fall in September 2020. This caused an intracranial haemorrhage, which required brain surgery for clot evacuation. He currently presents with hemiparesis. He receives all nutrition and medication via a RIG tube. He is self-ventilating, having had his tracheostomy successfully removed. He is currently immobile and is dependent on nursing staff of his personal cares.
After the fall in September'20 Dad was airlifted to John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford. He had four-hour operation and has been looked after in Neuro ICU. They told us that it's very likely that he'll never leave an ICU...
Fortunately, Dad was fighting, and he was slowly getting better. At the end of October'20 he was transferred to his local hospital and remained on MADU ward. Since January 2021 he is a patient of Royal Hospital of Neuro Disability.
Dad has severe cognitive impairment and communication difficulties. He requires skilled carers to anticipate and provide all of his care needs throughout the day. The prognosis says that he is likely to have significant long-term physical difficulties and complex needs.

We would like to do everything, so he continues rehabilitation, instead of being in a care home. We can easily see progress from September till now. He is only 53 years old. He has got family that supports him, he has got children and granddaughter that needs him. As a children we couldn't ask for a better father.
Our goal is to organise medical transport for Dad to Poland so that he will be close to his beloved granddaughter. We are also raising funds for his continuing rehabilitation.
Our only choice and a real chance for Dad to be more independent is a specialist private rehabilitation centre in Poland. The monthly cost is £3000.00 and our aim is to give Dad an opportunity for at least 3 months in a specialist centre.
Dad will continue to need special care, medication etc and we estimate monthly costs for that to be at least £1000.00 per month.
With your help we can make our dad's life better. We are really grateful for your support.
