With the cost of living crisis on the rise, more and more families are struggling to afford local children‘s activities. Local football clubs are also finding it difficult to pay for amenities such as local pitches, facilities, fees, kit and much more. As a mum of boys who spends most of my time on the football side lines, it's really inspiring to see the children get so much joy out of playing with their teams, keeping active and forming lifelong friendships.

After entering the London Marathon many times, I finally succeeded in getting a ballot place for the London Marathon 2023. I thought long and hard about raising money for different charities, but decided I wanted to raise funds so that the youth and the local community could benefit.

Please help me raise funds to motivate me on the gruelling 26.2 miles that i’ll endure in April. With the money raised I will be able to help some of the South Liverpool local football teams with funds for the year ahead. Every little helps!
