My sons autism makes it hard for him to cope in crowds and he has poor social skills, so when we are out doors he really comes to life and inter acts, we became members of the national trust several years ago and he loves it. We camp through out the year and have come to realise that this environment will give our son the best possible future and possibility of a job. We are a family of 8 plus a collie dog and our plans over the next three years is to buy land and place a caravan on it, with the aim to live off grid and become self serficiant with in a year. Our son will need adult supervision through out his adult life and will struggle to be independent, however working and living off the land is a viable future for him.
