Weʼve raised £8,150 to Help Aimee by lifting the financial strain off Traci and Mark through this tough time and for them to do something special as a family.

    Story

Aimee is a caring, fun, playful 7 year old that is oozing with character. She is a big sister to Phoebe and a little sister to two older children from her dad's previous relationship. She is the quirky fun loving and beautiful adored daughter of Traci and Mark.

A few weeks ago Aimee moaned that she didn't feel very well and had an awful headache and aches and pains that wouldn't go away. There was a virus going around our small village so we all thought it was that. After the half term end of Jan 2017 when Aimee still wasn't feeling well Traci took her to the hospital and they ran some tests. They asked her to come back two days later on wed 1 Feb which she did and they did some more testing and bloods also and sent her home to wait for the results. The results came back and Aimee had to go for an MRI on Friday 3 Feb 17. The results where devastating and revealed a 10cm growth on her little spinal cord. She was blue lighted to Southampton where she underwent emergency surgery. They have managed to get most of the growth but unfortunately some was wrapped around nerves so had to be left. It's with a heavy heart I tell you all that she has Ependymoma an aggressive Cancer that develops in the Brain or Spine and spreads through the spinal fluid and the cause is still unknown in Children.

Her talented and gorgeous mum Traci is a self employed beautician and her hard working dad lives and works in London all week to help provide for the family.

They will have a long road ahead of them with the next steps to Aimee's treatment and as their friends and family I have created this page so we can show our support by easing some of the financial burden and allowing them to focus fully on Aimee. I also thought it would be nice for them to use some of the money we raise for them to do something nice as a family.

All our love, support and prayers are with this gorgeous family so let's show our support xx
