Story

Period poverty remains one of the most shocking and over stigmatized issues that’s rarely spoken about

( PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK ) --->.The homeless period <---

For homeless women, it really is that dreaded time of the month. With limited or no access to feminine hygiene products they're often forced to go without or made to make alternative uncomfortable substitutes.

I strongly believe, that fulfilling the basic need of feminine hygiene products for homeless women, is one key step in helping them become more self-sufficient and dignified members of society, helping them feel recognized as humans.

Although there's a high need for tampons and pads among homeless women, many shelters don't supply them and if they do they are very limited in resources.

My aim is to provide hygiene and sanitary products for homeless women in the North East not only containing; Pads and Tampons to last 6 months but also essential sanitary products like; Toothbrush and pastes, small face cloth, baby wipes and tissue.

It would mean so much if you could help me raise money to provide these products.I would not only be delivering them but working alongside various homeless shelters in Newcastle to have the best impact possible.

DONATIONS!!!! would be even more of a blessing. I would happily come and collect pads tampons new toothbrushes, face cloths baby wipes and tissues to create little packs. :)

I will also be holding an event to raise more funds and doing other exciting fundraising events!! so stay tuned !!!

If you'd like to participate and help me out drop me a message the more the merrier!!!! look forward to receiving your donations !!!

Thank you <3
