    Story

For as long as I can remember I have always had trouble hearing, which is getting worse as I get older. I recently had an operation to try and improve my hearing in the one ear from the 7% that's left. Unfortunately this operation was unsuccessful and my next step is to find funding for a digital hearing aid. I have tried an NHS aid before and being 26, I was very self conscious having something so big and bulky, plus the sound on the NHS aid didn't do a lot for the things I need help with.
I've had a quote for a digital hearing aid which would completely change my life!! However, the cost is extensive and I'm not currently in a position to afford this. The company I work for are currently putting together a fundraising plan to help me, with ideas such as Christmas jumper day, charity football games, etc. I will be working really hard over the next few months to raise enough money and I would be extremely grateful if any of my family/friends could help me with a small donation - even the smallest amounts will help massively! Thank you x
