Sophie is 18 years old. She has a rare genetic illness called Ehlers-Danlos Sydrome. Unfortunately Sophie has complications affecting her whole body. Recently Sophie has just spent over 2 months in hospital which resulted in no other option but to be fed by Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) via a Hickman line to her heart.

Although there's no cure, Sophie and her family are desperate to find a specialist who can offer hope or maybe a solution for this complication in this country or abroad which is where we need your help!

To find a specialist who will hopefully be able to help for fill Sophie's wish of being able to eat again will require lots of private consultations which of course come at a cost.
