I'm raising £1,000 to support my journey through FND (Functional Neurological Disorder)

FND is Functional Neurological Disorder and I was diagnosed in September 2024 and handed a website link and lots of pain killers!

So I am aiming to try as much as I can to find out if something could work for me. From Ice Baths, Hypnotherapy, Massage and Spiritual healing to Medical treatment. I will literally do anything to hopefully get my life back.

TikTok has allowed me to find a huge community of people going through the same as me and made me believe I wasn't going crazy and I really cannot control the things my body is doing. My brain is sending silly signals to my body.

My symptoms are...

🧡 Functional tics (Motor and Vocal)

🧡 Functional seizures

🧡 Chronic pain

🧡 Gait issues

🧡 Mobility issues

🧡 Spasms

🧡 Paralysis

🧡 Dystonia

🧡 Migraines

🧡 Speech issues

🧡 Numbness

🧡 Different sensations in my limbs (hot, cold, tingly, etc)

🧡 Fatigue

🧡 Blurry vision

🧡 Brain fog

There is probably more but I can't think right now!

I finally had an appointment with a neurologist recently and he has said I have a severe case of FND and he is referring me to another hospital. As we all know with FND we get pushed from pillar to post because there isn't enough research and it seems no one really knows what to do.
