Right guys, It's my 30th birthday this coming Monday, and this year, rather than battering my liver and nursing a two day hangover, I thought I'd put my money to a better cause!
The Homeless Period are a charity set up to help provide sanitary wear for homeless women. The government allocate NO funding for sanitary provisions, so it's left to charities and donations to bridge the gap...
I won't bang on too much about how awful it is, to be a woman, and to be in this position... I will say though, to all my lovely friends who usually buy my a drink around this time of year, please donate a few quid to this charity!
The price of a drink, £3 say, is the same as the price of a less stressful month for a woman who is already dealing with homelessness.
I will be very appreciative for any donations made, no matter how big or small, and whoever benefits from these donations will, I'm sure, be extremely grateful.
