Hello, my name is Natasha Robson, I'm 24 years old and am in desperate need of your help. I'm suffering with an eyelid condition called bilateral ptosis, meaning that my upper eyelids consist of too much skin and the levator muscles that help open my eyes aren't working properly. As a result, in a relaxed state, both of my eyes are closed. It hurts so much and makes me feel so tired and unwell every day and there's just no escaping it. I have struggled and fought to keep my life together for the last few years but it's gotten so bad now that I have had to give up my job entertaining the elderly, a job that I really enjoyed, and now spend much of my time just resting, unable to do much of anything. I have been living with my lovely grandpa for the last two months, but due to certain circumstances I can no longer stay here but have nowhere else to go. I am due to undergo an operation that might make things better and get me back on my feet,, but the waiting list is a year long and I just don't know how I'm going to manage until then. I really need a place to live and quickly, but as it stands, there's no way I can afford it. I'm feeling so down and helpless and just don't know who to turn to.
